John Skrtic and Mike Polk Jr. want to show you some vintage photographs of Red Barn restaurants and dead people, and then they want to talk about it.
Skrtic is Chief of Collections at the Cleveland Public Library and Polk is a comedian and reporter for WKYC Channel 3. The two local gadabouts have parlayed their mutual love of Cleveland history into a popular, briskly-paced slide show featuring hundreds of photos, ads and other media, all harkening from our beloved city’s yesteryear.
So if you enjoy Cleveland history accompanied by persistent, wise-ass commentary, this is the event for you.
Actor, comedian, and WKYC reporter, Mike Polk Jr. will keep the contestants in line and help the judges reach their decision. Published author and creator of "Cleveland Tourism Video," a YouTube viral sensation, Polk knows a thing or two about Cleveland's best... and also worst.
