You’re Among Friends is a rock ’n’ roll band from Cleveland, Ohio. Tagged as “casual rock” by Powerpopaholic, YAF’s music has been described by Cleveland Scene as having “rollicking blues at its core with a sugary coating of power pop, doused in more than just a little bit of ’90s alt-rock nostalgia.” Indientry said it is “power pop disguised as bluesy rock” and that “the bluesy sound is effortlessly cool.” Although singer/guitarist Anthony Doran and bassist Kevin Trask have been the constant core of each incarnation of the band, Mike Janowitz immediately became an essential member as soon as he joined on drums.
