With Windswept Hair (@withwindswepthair IG) is a 5 piece indie/art/pop band based right here in Cleveland Heights. Come celebrate the physical release of their debut album/LP ‘Hanging By A Thread’. With Windswept Hair have been writing and recording together since 2023.

With Windswept Hair

With Windswept Hair is a collaborative music project between Emily Lampe, Kent Stricker, and Andy Curlowe. Kent and Andy first met while performing in another band. Discovering mutual musical interests and similarities in creative process, the two started writing music and playing together. Looking to expand their early musical start to include a creative artist who could sing, write, and share in a musical perspective, they found Emily. The trio have been creatively sparking since and writing music that will make you want to build a fort and set up a listening station in your living room.

By Light We Loom

In 2024, By Light We Loom had stopped performing live for the most part. We hit a creative and artistic rut and weren’t enjoying playing music as much, something that had always been foundational to our lives. We decided we couldn’t let music go without a fight, and if we were going to revive BLWL, we wanted to do it with more live instruments and more people we love! Therefore, we messaged two of our all-time favorite people and incredible musicians, Evan Storey and Jesse Scaggs. They said “yes” to the challenging task of converting our MIDI loop electronic duo to a four-piece band.

January of last year, we were in the grind of reworking every single song, not sure if it was ever going to work to add more live instruments to our sound, but we were having so much fun together that we kept at it! We worked really hard and were patient, and in May, we played our first live show as a band, and it went so much better than we could have imagined! We have played a show every month since and are growing our sound together. 2026 will see the release of brand new music.
