Mark Davison, the soulful front-man of Nuke the Soup and founding member of Cubic Feet, brings decades of songwriting craft to his intimate solo and duo performances. Rooted in Americana, acoustic and alt-rock music, Davison has cultivated a distinct sound that resonates with audiences of all kinds. Now in collaboration with longtime regional favorite Mitch Treger, Nuke the Soup is evolving. Treger earned his stripes in the music industry as the front-man of Washington D.C. band, The Emptys, opening for notable acts in the mid 90s to early 2000s like the Spin Doctors, Hootie and the Blowfish, and the Ramones. With many years of performance experience behind them and no shortage of passion, Davison and Treger make a tremendous pair for some feelgood music and a deeply engaging musical experience.
