Dame Drummer

Cleveland, Ohio in Grandma's kitchen is where it all began. Dame Drummer hails from a musical family. His Grandfather Chink Stevenson , the musical patriarch of the family. At the age o 5 Dame’s family purchased him a set of drums but within his first few weeks of practice his drum teacher was killed in their hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Dame didn't stop. His dad gave him the hottest albums that were out at the time: Prince's "Purple Rain" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller". His father's instructions were simple, "Play these". The family learned that Dame could listen and regurgitate exactly what he heard. He had "THE POCKET". Dame spent most of his free time on the drums playing and singing to his favorite tunes.
In 2008 in order to focus more on production, He formed Sweaty Llama Music. He has worked with a long list of artists including Los Rakas , LeVICE, Martin Luther , Kev Choice , Conya Doss , Alvin Frazier , Myron , Aneesa Strings , Fantastic Negrito and the list goes on. Dame most recently toured with PRINCE protege and vocal powerhouse Liv Warfield . Dame Is excited to present his full length Double LP entitled "Loveolution". Loveolution is the the divine solution to the pain and suffering amongst the community that Dame identifies with the most; The Meek and Oppressed Black People of The United States of America.
