Rodney Mynatt and Tommy Sheridan, better known as Mooke & Chemist of Smoke Screen, have been consistently performing and releasing music for over a decade.
Chemist and Mooke, the two MCs that make up Smoke Screen have influences in disparate realms of music – alternative, Top 40, underground etc… but when the two Cleveland MCs combine, they have an explosive and party-starting chemistry that’s rocked audiences all over the genre barrier.
Smoke Screen has done countless shows throughout the East Coast and Midwest promoting their releases. They have shared the stage with the likes of Black Star (Mos Def & Talib Kweli), Girl Talk, Redman, Danny Brown, Das Racist, People Under The Stairs, Wale, Big Sean, Rjd2, The Polish Ambasador, Two Fresh, Mr. Lif, Evidence, Brother Ali, Clipse, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, and many more.

After a Spring 2011 East Coast Tour, performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the legendary Cleveland Public Hall and rocking the stage at The House of Blues in Cleveland, 2012 saw the release of the Ice Cold Water EP along with two official music videos for the title track and Smoke & Lasers, both shot and produced by Turnstyle Films. They received nominations for Best Group and Album Of The Year for Ice Cold Water at The Ohio Hip Hop Awards and grabbed the attention of The Needle Drop, Dead End Hip Hop and various other outlets.

Fest and Summerdance ’13, dropped the heavyweight collab LP Smoke Noises with Ghost Noises as (Smoke Noises), and performed at Ingenuity Fest for the third consecutive year just to name a few things.
