Music has always been a part of Domingo Kite's life. The Cleveland-based rapper and producer grew up hearing a diverse range of eras and genres from his parents' stereo and experimenting with the piano as a child. As he hit his teens, Domingo tried his hand at producing, and later rapping, making songs in a basement room, getting CD's burned, and being active on Soundcloud and online forums.

This DIY spirit inspired Domingo to learn every facet of music production, leading him to occasionally produce for other artists and to get a recording arts degree as well. As Domingo wrote more songs and broadened his tastes, he honed a unique style of hip hop, with sonic influences including everyone from Larry June, to Lupe FIasco, and even Skrillex
