The Great Grog Bake Off

Based on The Great British Bake Off, the ultimate baking battle where passionate amateur bakers compete over the course of 10 episodes, the Grog Shop will host a one-night competition and delicious bake-tasting event inspired by the classic Channel 4 program. 

As an audience member, you'll be sharing in the sweet spoils of the competition by sampling the competing bakes and voting on them live. Your entry fee will go to the winning baker as part of the grand prize pot! Our hosts and judges will entertain you and the contestants with their goofy antics and critiques.

THE CHALLENGE 
For their "Signature Bake" contestants will make 12 mini pies with fillings of their choice, showcasing rich Fall flavors and farm fresh Ohio produce as well as their own personality, creative flair, and baking abilities.

They'll have only one chance to impress the judges and take home the crown and our grand prize! But wait, they'll also have the opportunity to win over the audience, who will also be voting for their favorites. THE JUDGES 

Annabella Andricks,
Executive Pastry Chef at Rood Food & Pie
Annabella Andricks has been in the industry for over 20 years, in positions from dish to line cook, and even bartender. She settled into pastry in 2010 and has been doing it ever since. She has lent her talents to award-winning restaurants such as Lola, Black Pig and as a baker at On The Rise. She started her own company, Drmaatic Snax, in 2018 and is the newly minted Executive Pastry Chef at Rood Food & Pie. She is also an animal lover and food freak. 

Natalie Blake, Executive Chef at Spice Hospitality Group
Natalie Blake is the performance head chef for the Cleveland Cavaliers, where she focuses on player nutrition. In her 10 years of being an executive chef in the city of Cleveland she has spent time working for our Cleveland professional sports teams, The Metropolitan at the 9 Hotel and Spice Catering Company. Her passions outside of culinary excellence include CrossFit, travel, spending time with her dogs, and appearing on food competition shows such as Hell's Kitchen, Supermarket Stakeout, Chopped, and Beat Bobby Flay.
