Lea Marra has been writing and performing music since the age of ten. Her inspirations come from nature, life experiences and relationships. Marra’s songwriting is influenced by music such as the Cranberries, Sixpence None The Richer, The Chicks, Shania Twain, and  The Weepies to just name a few. Marra has advanced her singer/songwriter sound with her band The Dream Catchers. The Dream Catchers started out in 2019 as a mix of electric and acoustic instruments including drums. Many members have parted since then and Marra’s sound has transformed into a folky/country genre. The Dream catchers have evolved into a string band and add great musicality to her songs which include violin, great harmonies, mandolin, banjo and upright bass.
