Sugardeer

Sugardeer is the solo project by Cleveland based composer Danny Boyle. Until 2020, Boyle walked the line by writing for orchestras, chamber ensembles, choirs, and short films in college. But in search of a sense of identity, they shifted gears in order to better express themself through their love of pop production and rock sensibilities. This shift, combined with their background in composition and collaboration, influences Sugardeer's writing to weave ornate orchestrations into a wistful indie-pop sound that delights in the cryptic and the revelatory.

Cherry Yachtsman

Cherry Yachtsman is an indie-folk/rock band based in Cleveland, OH, led by singer‑songwriter Ryan McCarthy and expanded into a full band lineup with Josh Khavari (guitar), Katie Custer (drums), Arick Samoros (bass) and Delia Brennan (Keys). They began as a lo-fi solo folk project and released their self-titled debut album in April 2021, followed by Leatherbound EP, Camel (2022), and their latest full-length Stag in July 2024. Known for intimate, improvisation‑rich live shows across Northeast Ohio—playing venues like the Rialto Theatre in Akron and Brothers Lounge in Cleveland—they blend earnest lyricism with spontaneous musical interplay. Their sound draws from classic Americana influences like John Prine, Neil Young, and Wilco, and their breakout single “Transcend the Pedestal” highlights both emotional sincerity and collaborative energy.

Lowspot

With zero exceptions or quarters given Cleveland rock & rollers, Lowspot, are one thing: LOUD. The disparate children of Northeast Ohio's punk and metal scenes, the members of Lowspot take all the classic ingredients of maximum volume, maximum distortion, and maximum hooks to weave songs that simultaneously feel both familiar and new.
