Mr.Phylzzz (pronounced Flyzzz) is a Chicago-based powerhouse in noise rock. What began as a joke by founder Clinton Jacob in 2015 became a relentless sonic beast. Armed with crushing riffs, melodic cunning, and a DIY soul, the duo—currently Clinton Jacob (guitar/vox) and Danny Sein (drums)—punctuated their rise with three landmark albums on Amphetamine Reptile Records: Penitent Curtis (2019), Cancel Culture Club (2022), and the visceral Fat Chance (2023). Known for explosive live sets (notably supporting Melvins and Boris), Mr.Phylzzz crafts music that’s chaotic, heartfelt, and utterly unforgettable.
