Gold Star
Gold Star is the solo Americana project of Los Angeles-based musician Marlon Rabenreither. He previously fronted the Sister Ruby Band before launching Gold Star in 2013. The project is known for its blend of blues, country, and rock n' roll, drawing comparisons to artists like Leonard Cohen, John Lennon, and Neil Young. Gold Star's music often features a vintage, old-timey vibe, with a touch of twang and lyrics inspired by Rabenreither's experiences in Los Angeles.
